Crafty Bits on Saturday

Revisions are going well, so not much to talk about on the writerly front. But I have two new crafty bits to show! :-)

First a pair of earrings with cute little Matryoshka dolls:


I saw these tiny porcelain dolls in one of my favorite online bead shops, and I fell in love instantly. As most kids here, I, too, had my own stackable Russian Matryoshka doll when I was a kid, so I'm feeling very nostalgic. :-) Too bad I don't have pierced ears!

Secondly, another beaded necklace on velvet:

I think this has an almost steampunk feel to it. I definitely didn't aim for it, so it's a nice surprise. ;-) It's choker length and features vintage glass pearls.
