I'm listening to Josh Groban's Noël, and man, it's good. I've been a Josh fan for years, and I don't think I've heard his voice this powerful and beautiful since Closer. I mean, when he launches into vocal thunderstorms in Little Drummer Boy, I just melt. I've literally stopped writing or doing whatever else I was doing and just sat there, sighing with a stupid smile on my face. Boy can sing. Boy's voice is perfect for Christmas songs.
On the crafting front, I've finally finished my knitting projects. Maybe it was a bit ambitious of me to start so many projects at once, but hey, when you're obsessed, you're obsessed. At least I now have a nice big scarf for my mom and two pairs of wrist warmers for myself. I still need to knit two more pairs of wrist warmers for Christmas presents, but I found a nice and easy pattern, so I can knit one wrist warmer in a day if it comes to that. I do plan to tackle socks soon, but I think I need to let my hands rest a bit first. ;-) Or do different kind of work, such as...
...writing. So, I started my NaNo novel. Funnily enough, this is the idea I scrapped a while ago, but morphed into something different. It's a fantasy YA, but set firmly in this world, and I'm trying to bring in some humor as well. I'm currently clocking in at 2899 words, so it's not like I'm storming up the NaNo charts, but I'm still making progress that I'm happy with. I like my characters and especially the town I chose as a setting (it's a real place, one that I could see myself living in). I probably won't win NaNo, but it pushed me into starting this story, so it's all good. :-)
And now, it's Angels We Have Heard on High with Josh.

There can never be too many projects!!
I fact, I find work best when I have a lot of things going on at once, and I can rotate between them to keep my focus fresh!
Oh yes, multitasking is the word! :-D
Hello, visiting your blog linked from Verla Kay. Thanks for your support. I love your blog. I also love to write, have a mountain of craft supplies and a hairy dog! Awesome.
Terry
