As expected, I haven't been able to stay away from those awesome Swarovski crystals I got yesterday. There's just something about a shiny, perfect crystal that takes me to another place, much like storytelling. Like one of my characters says, "I could bathe in beads." Here are a couple of things I've made.
These earrings sport 6 mm "Rose" Swarovskis in both 6 mm and 4 mm and some gun metal colored chain. I just love this style and I've named it "urban chic" - a combination of pretty and grunge.
Another pair of urban chic earrings. These have 6 mm "Light Amethyst" Swarovskis, 5 mm Chinese crystals in light purple, and some more of that chain.
These are a bit different and unfortunately I didn't manage to get the camera to focus on the crystals. Copper colored findings and three light gold-colored 6 mm Swarovskis hanging on toggle clasp rings.
And last, a bracelet. This bad boy was hard to photograph! The crystals are so bright and the chain so not bright that it was truly challenging to capture what it really looks like. Finally, I slapped it on my water bottle and got this. It's a light summer piece, and the gun metal chain and the sparkly crystals make a delicious combination. This one has several 6 mm "Light Azore" Swarovskis and one 8 mm "Light Amethyst" Swarovski.
I also made really awesome Pizza Bolognese, which has nothing to do with jewelry, but I just had to get that out because it was so yummy. And now I'm taking the dog for a walk. Toodles!
